VINTAGE OVERVIEW: Single Vineyard Cabernet Sauvignon from Rutherford, Napa Valley, California. Extended rainfall from the winter season into April and May marked the beginning of steady growing conditions in 2019. Temperate patterns in the spring and early summer lead to subtle peaks in July and August, followed by consistency throughout the fall. Early rains at the onset of the year prompted fuller canopy growth, providing stability for the vines throughout the warmer months, ensuring balance and even ripening. Harvest on October 2nd and commenced on the 10th. This consistency developed a graceful vintage of concentrated flavor and harmonious structure.
WINEMAKING DETAILS: The 2019 CHÂTEAU NAPA was crafted from Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon. The wine was aged for 20 months in 100% French oak barrels. Bottled on July 21, 2021, in 750ml bottles. Due to limited production, large formats are not available.
